SAP PP Consultant
Position Responsibilities:
  • Design and build SAP PP, QM and PM solutions.
  • Perform maintenance and support of SAP PP, QM and PM modules.
  • Ensure technical solutions maintain design integrity, adhere to functional designs and meet business needs.
  • Sr. SAP PP Consultant needed with Functional/technical proficiency with at least 2+ full life cycle SAP implementations.
  • Good technical understanding of ABAP and other technical concepts and their usage in PP, QM and PM.
  • Understand business needs and translate the understanding into a form that leads to the creation and/or composition of better process and/or technology solutions in the SAP PP modules always aligned with the Global template.
  • Help to design, build, test and deploy the SAP solution for Quality Management by working closely with other team members and consulting partners.
  • Create test scripts and drive integration and regression testing.
  • Successfully handle multiple issues and tasks, completing them on time and within budget while exceeding expectations.
  • Ensure, where possible, the solution that gets implemented aligns with S/4 HANA roadmap.
  • Seek opportunities to develop and maintain knowledge of business processes, application functionality and configuration.
  • Recommend operational continuous improvement opportunities, service efficiency initiatives and business process improvement to better serve business needs.
  • Make recommendations on functional and technical improvements to the application.
  • Work closely with other team members, locally and globally, proactively sharing expertise to improve and ensure team success.
  • Experience in an SAP Plant Maintenance module, working with end-users to translate business requirements into system specifications.
  • Support the existing SAP design, SAP application configuration, and custom system enhancements / integration points.
  • Document requirements for new functionality as required in support of the Plant Maintenance processes.
  • Develop functional design specifications in support of existing and new application requirements.
  • Support the deployment of production applications and provide post-production support related to the custom system enhancements, and integration points.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Good knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, objects dependencies and tables.
  • Experience configuring and performing functional setup of Plant Maintenance module.
Skill Requirements:
  • Hands on configuration experience in SAP PP Manufacturing/Process industry/Repetitive manufacturing/Plant Maintenance.
  • Hands on configuration in SAP QM – Inspection planning, Quality certificates, MIC’s, Quality Notification and LIMS integration.
  • Ability to understand and solution SAP PM integration with external systems.
  • Experience working in offshore/onsite support model.
  • Must have hands on experience in the Design/Blueprint phase of SAP transformation programs and Data Conversions.
  • Experience in documenting Functional specification for Reports, configure changes and FIT, SIT testing.
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience designing and implementing SAP Projects or Operations support
  • At least 1 full project lifecycle SAP PP/QM/PM implementations
